A Message to Our Valued Customers

In July 2025, Precision Eforming was acquired by The Partner Companies (TPC) and is now operating under Optiforms, Inc., a fellow TPC company based in Temecula, California.

This page explains what has changed, what has not, and who to contact for your orders and inquiries.

About Optiforms

Optiforms has manufactured precision optical components and enhanced surface finishes since 1984. Our core capabilities include electroforming, multi-axis CNC machining, thin-film optical coatings (PVD), and electroplating — all performed in-house at our Temecula, CA facility. We serve aerospace, defense, medical, semiconductor, industrial, and specialty lighting markets, and hold ISO 9001:2015 certification and ITAR registration.

The addition of Precision Eforming’s electroformed mesh and sieve product lines expands Optiforms’ electroforming capabilities into 2D precision mesh, micro-aperture sieves, and filtration products — areas where PEF has set the standard for decades.

Why This Acquisition

Optiforms and Precision Eforming share a common foundation in electroforming technology. Optiforms has specialized in 3D electroformed optical components — reflectors, cold shields, and complex geometric shapes. Precision Eforming has pioneered 2D electroformed mesh and sieve products with roots dating back to 1907 and the Buckbee-Mears Company.

Bringing these capabilities together under one organization gives PEF customers access to Optiforms’ broader manufacturing infrastructure — including optical coatings, machining, plating, and metrology — while preserving the precision mesh and sieve expertise that PEF customers depend on.

What Has Changed

Operations and order management are now handled by Optiforms in Temecula, CA. All inquiries — whether for new quotes, existing orders, reorders, or technical questions about PEF products — should be directed to the contacts listed below.

Please do not contact The Partner Companies (TPC) corporate offices for PEF product inquiries. TPC is the parent organization; all product and order support runs through Optiforms directly.

What Has Not Changed

  • PEF product specifications, materials, and quality standards remain the same.
  • Existing part numbers and product lines (electroformed micro mesh, bonded mesh, layered mesh, and electroformed test sieves) continue to be available.
  • Your engineering requirements and tolerances will be met to the same standards PEF has maintained throughout its history.

Who to Contact

For all Precision Eforming product inquiries — new orders, existing orders, reorders, quotes, and technical questions:

Looking Ahead

We are actively integrating PEF’s product lines into Optiforms’ operations and will continue to update this page as the transition progresses. Our priority is making this seamless for you — same products, same quality, with the added backing of Optiforms’ full manufacturing and engineering capabilities.

*PLEASE NOTE – We ask for your utmost patience as we work to transition the entire PEF operation from New York to California. Our commitment is to maintain the quality products you are accustomed to receiving. While we are working methodically to get up to speed, there may be moments when things take longer than usual, when we need to track down information, or when we ask you to confirm details that PEF once had on file. Thank you for allowing us the time to properly integrate these capabilities and serve you better.

If you have any questions about the transition, reach out to Optiforms directly at the contacts above.
